My Latest Podcast Listens, Q4 2023

Here are a couple of interesting podcasts for the last quarter of the year. I tend to like to listen to personal productivity, tech and economic/business stuff. It’s quite hard to convince yourself to listen to new ones so it gets harder to publish this every quarter, I should probably expand my horizons!

I’m not going to pretend I listen to every episode either but these are definitely on rotation, and survive my regular purges and “unfollows”. You should be able to find them easily at your favourite podcast provider.

HBR Podcasts

https://hbr.org/podcasts

I previously mentioned HBR Coaching Real Leaders which is excellent, in fact there are a handful or more of high quality podcasts in the HBR stable. What I like is that there is not a lot of filler in these, and they are a sensible length – 20-30 minutes. They don’t tend to promote a particular agenda either, and since they tend to be weekly or slower it’s not overwhelming.

Homekit Insider / Apple Insider

I really like both of these shows, particularly when I am out running as they are easy to listen to, and the hosts are very genial. It helps that many episodes are roughly the same length as a run! Definitely the best of the various apple related podcasts. Homekit insider is addictive at the moment as I am have moved house and have great dreams of new home automation kit!

FT Unhedged

Only picked this up recently but this is a short, sharp and “fun” (can such a thing be said about this topic?) 15-20 minutes every few days on a wide variety of company and financial things. Recent episodes reflected on crypto, gold and interest rates.

Another list around early Feb time!
